E-learning and 4IM

Définition

When we say E-learning, we mean any interactive training in electronics, done while surfing the web, Internet, Intranet. It might be asynchronous training (for example, the student trains himself on his own following a rhythm of progress adapted to his level and can ask questions through e-mail) or synchronic (the student is in "live" contact with the trainer). 4IM widely uses E-learning in addition to "normal" courses.

E-learning is intended for :

  • Students following the 4IM sessions throughout the year, and who want to work on the next lesson or go deeper into one aspect of the course, in addition to the usual class periods (better assimilation of the lessons, and therefore a better pass rate in the studies), (free access).
  • Students who want to know more about modules not included in their specialization (free access).
  • Students who choose their degree course in the second year, to facilitate and validate their course (free access)
  • Students who have attended a course in one language and who want to go over it again in another language, (e-learning course is available in French and in English), (free access)
  • Students who don't attend 4IM lectures during the academic year and nevertheless want to take the exams at the end of the year. It will be particularly true for the students doing their work experience abroad or having desynchronised work experience periods, (distant firms), (free access)
  • Student (not recognized at 4IM) and employees who are only "interested" in a few lessons, according to their free choice, for instance to bring up their knowledge to standard, on such and such a subject (access is not free).
  • Moreover, students will still have (at their disposal) free access to these lessons for one year after leaving school, allowing them to have a post diploma continuous contact, from the firm where they work/

The whole e-learning course is the property of 4IM which guarantees its educational and technological standard (4IM e-learning label).
